Dr Kar was most attentive, explained what was going to happen clearly and had a calm and friendly manner throughout. I do not give 5 stars for trust merely because I met Dr Kar for the first and only time on the morning of the operation and cannot really say that I know him well enough to answer this question meaningfully; certainly, nothing in his actions would lead me to suggest he is not entirely trustworthy. Thus my objection is rather more to the usefullness of the question itself rather than a reflection on Dr Kar.

Dr. Kar was very professional during my visit. He spoke to us before and after surgery. I felt at ease when he spoke to me after my son's surgery.

Reassuring manner. Visited before op and type of anaesthetic was discussed. Visited after op on same day to ensure my pain relief was suitable.

Dr Kar came in to administer an epidural for my wife during labour. We really felt like we'd struck gold with Dr Kar as his demeanour was very friendly and he was very professional.
He was a very reassuring presence and the entire procedure was over very quickly, and it was incredibly effective too, with the pain relief coming almost straight away.
We also saw Dr Kar as one of the team when we had to go in for an emergency C-section. Again, his presence reassured us from the previous experience we had, and he was a very calming influence at a traumatic time.
We are very grateful to Dr Kar and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anybody.

Dr Girish Kar was a very caring and professional doctor. He had read my notes relating to previous visits on unrelated matters to make sure nothing affected my treatment last week. He made me feel well cared for.
